The Jackson County Memorial Hospital Counseling Center seeks to assist individuals in reaching their fullest potential in work settings, educational/vocational pursuits and interpersonal relationships.
LICENSED THERAPISTS
The Counseling Center has licensed therapists available for appointments and offers prevention programs and treatment services designed to strengthen social, marital and family relationships.

Dr. Wallace Heller
Psychiatrist
Dr. Wallace Heller is a medical physician who specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mental illnesses, including substance abuse and addiction. Dr. Heller uses a variety of treatment methods to assist individuals in improving their quality of life. Because psychiatrists are medical doctors, they can also determine whether there is a need for medication to restore imbalances in body chemistry that are often a large part of mental illness.
LISA RIGGS
PHYCHIATRIC/MENTAL HEALTH ADVANCED REGISTERED NURSE PRACTITIONER
Lisa provides initial psychiatric evaluations to include diagnosing and initial prescribing, ongoing medication managment, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy. All services to those 13 and older.
